class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>L&rsquo;ICM a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 seulement 31 ans apr\u00e8s la fondation du Canada &#8211; le r\u00e9sultat de la recherche par des individus de l&rsquo;industrie mini\u00e8re d&rsquo;un v\u00e9hicule pour faire pression en faveur des lois sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de la protection des travailleurs, ainsi que d&rsquo;une m\u00e9thode pour assurer la communication des id\u00e9es. Dirig\u00e9 par un groupe de membres tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9tents et d\u00e9vou\u00e9s, l&rsquo;ICM attire rapidement de nouveaux membres de tout le Canada. <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Institut a \u00e9t\u00e9 constitu\u00e9 en 1898 par une loi du Parlement du Canada sous le nom de Canadian Mining Institute. Constitu\u00e9e en soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en 1967, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de m\u00e9tallurgie (MetSoc) est l&rsquo;une des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s qui composent l&rsquo;Institut canadien des mines, de la m\u00e9tallurgie et du p\u00e9trole.
